I wouldn't risk it depending on what kind of lotions or oils the massage therapist might use could make it streak.

personally I wouldn't recommend it. massage does have an exfoliating side due to friction and certain oils may lift the tan more easily. its up to the client as long as they are aware of that and are happy to go ahead then its fine but I know I wouldn't advice it for my clients. sorry hope that helps.
